We are proud to offer for sale a most special and famous Riva Aquarama, QUATTRO.
QUATTRO is Riva Aquarama #4 and is the VERY FIRST Aquarama to be constructed with laminated hull sides, rather than individual planking. QUATTRO retains these original unblemished hull sides today. From this boat forward, all Aquaramas had laminated hull sides.
Aquarama #1 was the famous LIPICAR built for Ing. Carlo Riva on the hull of Tritone 214, and Aquaramas #2 & #3 were still constructed with planked hulls.
Aquarama #4 has been completely restored in Italy, under the watchful eye of Ing. Carlo Riva, some 5 - 6 years ago. The original 185 HP Chris Craft motors have been restored in the US, using 350 CID blocks, and maintain their correct original configuration and appearance.
In order to maintain a proper and complete restoration, the owner even had the original circa 1963 black and orange upholstery vinyl duplicated for correct color and texture.
The quality of restoration of QUATTRO has been recognized at the Lake Tahoe Concourse d’Elegance where it won the Best in Show award, as well as several other prestigious awards at other Shows.
QUATTRO is in spectacular, turn key condition and ready to use or show. At the present time the hour meters show approximately 110 hours of fresh water use since restoration.
Included with this special Riva are the normal Riva accessories, bathing ladder, ski pole, sun mattresses, compass, docking lights, flag pole & flag, Riva pennant, cabriolet top, etc. as well as a custom 2003 Patriot tri-axle trailer.
